Hi, I’m Lauren, founder of Aurora Skin Studio.
My career began in hair and beauty, where I developed an early interest in skin, confidence and helping people feel good in themselves. Over time, that interest evolved into healthcare, and I went on to build a career in nursing.
I have worked in healthcare since 2011 and qualified as a Registered Nurse in 2021. My clinical background includes critical care, burns, plastics and maxillofacial care, and I now work as a Senior Staff Nurse within a specialist hospital environment.
Working in these areas has given me a strong understanding of anatomy, wound healing, skin integrity, patient safety and the importance of detailed assessment before any treatment is considered.
Aurora Skin Studio brings together both sides of my career, my background in beauty and skin, and my experience as a registered healthcare professional.
I created Aurora because I wanted to offer something that felt different.
For me, aesthetics should never be about changing someone into somebody else or chasing perfection. It should be about understanding the individual, improving skin health, enhancing features naturally and helping people feel more confident in themselves.
Every treatment at Aurora will begin with a thorough consultation, realistic expectations and an individual treatment plan.
My approach is built around three principles:

Empower- giving you honest information and helping you make informed decisions about your skin and treatments.
Radiate- supporting healthier skin, subtle results and confidence that comes from feeling like yourself.
Aesthetic medicine is constantly evolving, and I believe good practice means never stopping learning.
Alongside my nursing career, I am continuing advanced education in medical aesthetics, facial anatomy, skin health and injectable treatments, with a focus on evidence-based practice, complication management and natural results.
Aurora will continue to grow as my training and experience develop, with new treatments introduced carefully rather than simply because they are popular.
Aurora is being created as a calm, private and professional clinic where clients can feel comfortable asking questions, discussing concerns and making decisions without pressure.
